ABZA Tech Engineering (SSM Reg. 002770372-P) started with a simple idea: electrical work should be done right, explained clearly, and left better than we found it.
Every building tells on its electrician. Long after the paint dries and the client moves in, it's the wiring behind the wall, the panel in the utility room, and the camera over the door that keep doing their job — or don't. We started ABZA Tech Engineering because we wanted our name attached to the kind that keeps doing its job.
It began with one van, one toolbox, and a stretch of shophouses in Batu Caves that all seemed to need the same thing: wiring nobody had touched properly in twenty years. Rewiring a kitchen that kept tripping its breaker every time two appliances ran together. Replacing a distribution board someone had patched with whatever fuse happened to be on hand. Small jobs, done properly, one after another — the kind of work that doesn't make headlines but does mean the lights stay on.
The scope grew because clients kept asking for more than wiring. A café owner wanted a camera on the till after a break-in. A clinic needed access control on its pharmacy room, not just a lock and a spare key floating around. A small warehouse learned the hard way what a power cut does to a freezer full of stock, and asked if we could size them a UPS before it happened again. Each time, we had a choice: stretch the wiring crew across work it wasn't trained for, or build the capability properly. We chose the second one, every time.
That choice is why ABZA today has ELV and UPS specialists working alongside the wiring team, instead of a handful of generalists doing a bit of everything. It's also where the habit that runs through every job came from: nothing gets handed over untested. A circuit gets loaded before we call it done. A camera gets checked against its actual blind spots, not just powered on. A UPS gets tested under load, not just plugged in and left blinking green. It's slower than trusting the install on sight — that's rather the point.
Today that's grown into a full electrical, ELV and UPS engineering practice serving homes, shops and small industrial sites across the Klang Valley — still run by people who'd rather spend an extra hour testing than an extra year explaining why something failed.
